A Way to Help the Homeless
“What can I do to help the homeless? “ “I want to get my family involved in helping others but I am not sure where to start.” “With the economy the way it is, it is hard to find exciting and fun family activities that fit our budget.”
Do any of these statements reflect the way you have felt recently? If the answer is yes, Wheeler Mission Ministries has the answer. On Friday, June 18-Saturday, Wheeler is hosting Camp Out to Stamp Out Homelessness right in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. The campout out will be held at the Indiana War Memorial’s American Legion Mall. There will be many exciting and fun activities that will appeal to all ages. The cost is $20.00 per person and children 10 and under accompanied by an adult get in for free. Come and join us for a night of great food, awesome music and games for all ages. Oh, by the way, if camping isn’t your idea of a good time come join us for the evening’s activities and when others are crawling into their sleeping bags, you can head home and crawl into your warm beds – no problem!
